During the excursion, we will not only remember the people buried there, their deeds and fates, but we will also talk about the history of the cemetery itself, look for unique tombstones, monuments and chapels. You will find out why cemeteries outside the cities all over Europe started to be established only at the end of the 18th century, why the townspeople resisted burial in them and what tricks the authorities had to use in order to convince them to bury their loved ones in a new place.🟤 Start of the tour: we meet at the entrance to the Rasų cemetery on Rasų st.🟤 Duration ~ 2 hrs.Please do not be late and have a copy of the ticket saved on your phone with you. After the excursion starts, the guides do not talk on the phone, as a result, the possibilities to connect will be limited.For children under 10 years old (traveling with adults participating in the excursion) - the excursion is free.
