The world is becoming less and less stable. Vulnerable and looking for support, we balance on the threshold of the future, while politicians are constantly arguing and playing power games where there are almost no winners.
In the front of the quay, viewers are a magnificent and dazzling white staircase floating on the water. There are six performers looking for a relationship in the motion and the dynamics of the staircase. On the floating platform, the vibrating atmosphere is complemented by musicians connecting voices, trumpets, guitars, analogue synthesizers and texts from politicians.
It quickly becomes clear how unstable the situation is - when one of the members of the "crew" moves to the opposite side of the stairs, the whole object is tilted, and the rest of the performers have the task of returning the balance so that nothing will fall into the water. The feeling that everything is built on the card does not abandon the audience throughout the show.
The show The Weight of Water is an exciting and poetic experience. It reveals the desire for power and accompany it to trust each other and the unmanageable water verse.
