This performance is a subtle and inspiring tale of friendship and its meaning. One day, a lion finds an injured bird in his fall garden. This lion differs from other lions: it is very sensitive and caring, so he takes the bird to live in his cozy home. This is how unexpected but true and deep friendship between two very different animals begins. The days run, come and go, the bird recovers and wants to travel, so friends inevitably have to stand out ... But the real friendship is nowhere - a warm feeling always travels together, and a dear friend lives in a special place. Time simply melts in this theater, whose repertoire is full of a variety of classic and contemporary works and fairy tale interpretations. The theater mission is to introduce viewers to eternal values and to form a creative, conscious, art loving future man.
This year theater celebrates the 66th season, which combines the history of Kaunas State Puppet Theater with the latest trends in contemporary puppet and object theater. This is also reflected in the theater repertoire, attractive to every viewer, both the child and the adult.
