Attention. The performance uses flashing lights, loud music.
The Mont ventoux staff releases in 1336. The text "Climb to Venti Mountain" written by Francesco Petrarka. Seemingly, this is just a letter telling about climbing a mountain on an ordinary April afternoon. By covering the simplicity of the veil, Petrarka offers an alternative to the world's faith through climbing - the way up the way humanity can bypasses and leave the dark medieval times behind the back, bringing a new paradigm of humanism to the future world. And so create a better future for everyone.
Today, we, the inhabitants of one planet, after seven centuries and gaining more acceleration, as typical of our time, we see the immediate need to change. We face us as a community and humanity, the destabilization of the structures that have supported so far, and we are witnessing too undetectable transformations of the future. Petrarka has already warned, "We must wake up from lethargy, get rid of forms!" Based on this mantra, the Kor'sia team wants to give voice to words that sounds very sensitive today:
climb up the mountain.
revive their own values.
implement the mass goodwill action. And what a better way to do it than dancing bodies?
Kor'sia team is a group of artists based in Madrid, consisting of director and choreographers Mattia Rusos and Antonio de Rosa, co -founder and visual arts researcher Giuseppe Dagostino and Drama Agnès López-Río.
They form Kor'sia nucleus and, along with colleagues from other art disciplines such as music, cinema, fashion, literature, lighting and space design, create a dance born from the creators' philosophical mantras. There are ways to defend and convey to generations to the faith that the arts, especially the art of movement, are the only representation of the human world: traditions, society, culture, gender, sustainability, democracy ... The way it is unable to do so. Art is able to create spaces where people can immerse themselves in their most intimate and spiritual layers, and help them find the meaning of life.
