Bombed out buildings in Ukraine, Baalbek temple in Lebanon built in 60 AD, images of rock blasts and cities destroyed by earthquakes in Turkey, a man tending the stones of an ancient temple for thirty years, skeletons of monolithic buildings and piles of concrete rubble waiting to be removed and reused, and the main character of the film is the Italian architect and designer Michele de Lucchi, in whose garden a symbolic landscape element is laid out of stones - a circle that no one should step into. It is dedicated to the contemplation of the survival and collapse of civilizations. In this way, director Viktoras Kosakovskis invites the audience to engage in philosophical and poetic reflections on the architecture of old and new times. The famous film essayist Viktoras Kosakovskis ("Shut Up!", "Gunda") this time through impressive images, drawing parallels between eternal stone and the short-lived concrete made from it, asks universal and not only him-worrying questions: are the concrete urban jungles being built thinking about the future of our civilization ; whether the long-term consequences will not be catastrophic from an aesthetic and ecological point of view; is it possible and is it not too late to return to the long-lasting values ​​of architecture?
