In the center of the existential comedy that closed this year's Gothenburg Film Festival, there is a thirty-year-old Regitze, who has no job, no boyfriend or children. "It's hopeless," says her father, who has never attended his daughter's tennis practice. A girl who grew up in a family of self-centered academics today feels at a dead end. Not only did she get pregnant unexpectedly, but her mother's last wish before her death was a pilgrimage for her daughter and father to Spain. To honor her mother's memory, the two agree to go on a journey, but during the 260 kilometers from Astorga to Compostela, they encounter more of the living than the dead, and the wall of estrangement between father and daughter begins to falter.
