Director Salomé Alexi, together with her 96-year-old mother, is making a documentary about her grandmother, Nutsa Gogoberidze, the first Kartvelian director. The women are trying to restore the fragments of the director's tragic fate - her first films "Buba" and "Uzhmuri" were banned and destroyed, and Nutsa herself was exiled to Siberia. After returning from exile, she never mentioned her films again. In the autobiographical documentary, three generations of women reveal not only the painful past of the family, but also the history of Sakartvel, full of cinema, dance and poetry.
