The initiative "Knyga+Kinas" is back, which invites you to spend three Wednesdays in October with Lithuanian classic films and their creators. Autumn movie nights have a familiar format - three films inspired by literature and their creators.
October 9 was presented to the audience in 1989. Based on Jolita Skablauskaitė's short stories, the film "Fish Day" was created by Algimantas Puipas. Its center is the life, creative attempts, journeys between reality and dreams and self-searching of Veronika, who is emancipated, works in court, is expecting a baby and dreams of becoming a writer. Well-known Lithuanian actors play in the film: Daiva Stubraitė, Sakalas Uždavinys, Dalia Michelevičiūtė and others.
Film director Algimantas Puipa will participate in the screening and discussion of the film, and the discussion will be moderated by film critic Neringa Kažukauskaitė.
