I invite everyone to take part in an unusual weekend tour with a musical twist in the style of tango. If you are interested in cool stories, gorgeous nature, estates and parks, and you also love live concerts and tango, then this tour is for you.
On Sunday, July 26, we will travel the roads of Vilnius intellectuals and freemasons, and at the same time attend a concert of the duo DUO BANDINI, playing in the tango style. This free concert will take place in the Jashunai estate as part of the annual international festival.
During this tour we will also:
visit the estate in Jashunai, which belonged to the most famous Balinsky family of its time. The whole world of Vilnius came here at one time. And most of them were famous Masons! Among them are the famous Sniadecki brothers. And this estate also became the prototype of that same count’s house with the Bronze Bird from the old Soviet film of the same name. We will visit the most beautiful ruins of Lithuania and learn the history of the famous Pavlovsk Republic, which for a short time became the smallest state in Europe 250 years ago. We will have a picnic (don’t forget your snacks and drinks) on the territory of the ancient Vilkishki manor, over which the Cinderella curse hung. We will stop by the village of Mikhnovo and learn the amazing history of the local agricultural Orthodox community, which was able to maintain its identity and uniqueness throughout the last century.I am sure this trip will bring you many new impressions and give you a great mood. The cost of the tour is 50 euros, the number of places is very limited (no more than 8 people). Meeting point at the entrance to the IKI store, located at the Vilnius bus station. The price of the tour includes transport, parking and guide services.
It is also possible to join this tour with your own transport, for a price of 25 euros per person, write in person for details.
Don't forget about comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for walking in nature, according to the forecast weather.
