Festival "Transformations" is an industry and art festival that takes place every year in the historical Petrašiūnai power plant. During the event, visitors are invited to explore the unique industrial space and experience contemporary art inspired by the architecture of the power plant, its technological processes and history.
This year, the main object of artistic exploration will be water - a constantly changing natural resource, which is also one of the most important elements of the power plant's operation. Lithuanian artists will examine its movement, transformations and significance in technological systems and the environment around us, looking for unexpected links between industry, nature and man.
The festival is open to everyone - on the days of the event, the Petrašiūnai Power Plant can be visited for free. However, the festival is not only created by the program, but also by the people. This year, we invite you to join the community of friends of the festival - to become a part of a long-term initiative, to contribute to the continuity of the festival and to discover new experiences every year, exclusively for the "Transformacijų" community.
The annual membership of a friend of "Transformacijų" gives you the opportunity to:
Get to know the power plant up close. Friends of the festival will be able to register for special tours of the Petrašiūnai power plant with the guides of "Kaunos enerjija". Excursions will take place on weekdays (working hours) in August-September. Information about the dates and times of the tours will be sent to friends of the festival by August 17. You will be able to choose the most suitable time for you and register two excursion participants. Visit the festival without registration. By becoming a friend of "Transformations" you will be able to come to the festival at any time convenient for you during all days of the event. You can also bring your family members and friends (up to 10 people) - they will not have to register separately or take care of tickets. Participate in meetings with artists. During special meetings, artists will present the ideas of their works, tell stories about the creative process and the realization of works in the spaces of the power plant. Discover new privileges every year. Every year we create new values for the friends of the festival - exclusive experiences, meetings and advantages that grow together with the festival and are not available to other festival visitors.Annual membership price - 25 Eur.
