Fort 9. Tunnels. A journey through time.
Guided tour of RIMUTĖS:
It is like a journey through time, covering several eventful decades.
Behind the massive metal creaking doors - mysterious-looking underground communication galleries. We travel through the labyrinths of tunnels, accompanied by a story about the history of the Kaunas fortress, the storming, visiting the crew's hideouts, inspecting the drinking water well and ammunition warehouses. And all this - underground!
"Concrete bag", "Wet", "Resort" - what is this?!
We will also go through the door that became fatal during the legendary escape of prisoners (corps incinerators) from the fort. This fort is not only a defensive fortification. Its history bears witness to the fate of prisoners and victims of the Holocaust...
Excursion price:
11 Eur / 1 participant
5 Eur /1 participant - schoolchildren (1st grade-12th grade)
Additionally, you will need to purchase a 9th fort visitor's ticket at the museum counter: 8 Eur for an adult, 4 EUR for a schoolchild, student, senior citizen (all other visitor ticket discounts - at the museum box office)
