Excursion-Article, which presents modernist architecture and interwar Kaunas. The city that entered the race with other European cities and reached its own: it was called Little Paris, and in 2023. Kaunas buildings, their diversity and all -connecting optimism were recognized as exceptional not only in Lithuania, Europe, but also worldwide. UNESCO heritage status granted to Kaunas modernist architecture, as one of the most prominent examples of early regionalism in the history of modernism architecture.
This is 2017. The revival of the project created, the synthesis of the sound and dance performance that allows people who lived during the interwar period, such as: A.Smetona, A. Valdemaras, Č. Sugihara, M. Avietėnaitė and others. and buildings stories. Revealing events, today's real life stories, the culture of the time, the identity and exclusivity of the style. Each building, which is presented at a slightly more than an hour during the performance-ecourse, is a unique, unit with a personal biography.
