The advent of color photography, which was experimented with for a century, eventually only strengthened the advantages of black and white photography. By abandoning colors, shape and patterns, the most subtle details, emerge in the photos. Because of its contrasts, black-and-white photography creates an eloquent, dramatic story by itself.
Would you like to learn how to develop photo strips for a black-and-white image?
June 30. At 12 p.m., in the KKKC Art Yard (Daržų St. 10), photo artist Audronius Žemgulis invites you to the creative workshop "Black - White", where you will take photos and develop photo strips yourself. The artist will pass on the basic theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for beginners, so that after the workshop you can do it yourself.
The laboratory materials necessary for the classes will be provided. You can bring your own black and white strips for highlighting, except for Ilford XP2.
The duration of the classes is 3 hours.
