On the penultimate Saturday of summer, we invite families (and not only!) to go on a hike in Ilgininkai Forest! The route will wind through coniferous and deciduous forest paths, where you will be able to see felled pines. The sharpest eyes will discover hidden mushrooms in the abundant moss cover, and various plants and forest sounds will create a special atmosphere. Tasks, fun time in the forest and new knowledge about protected areas await you. At the end of the hike, we will all roast marshmallows together over a bonfire! Do not miss the opportunity to get to know the nature of the Veisiei Regional Park more closely!
When? August 22, 11 a.m.
Meeting place? Veisiejai regional park visitor center (Santarvės st. 9, Veisiejai).
We will wait for you to arrive 15 minutes earlier so that you can visit the exhibition of the visitor center. 11 o'clock we will go by car to the starting point of the hike (about 9 km.), so please do not be late (!).
The start and end of the hike are in the same place.
We will hike about 5 km.
Registration after purchasing a ticket
Participant fee - 6 EUR. 50% discount applies to schoolchildren, students, disabled and old-age pensioners.
We would like to inform you that if you purchase a ticket and decide not to participate in the hike, the money will not be refunded.
Take a good mood, water, snacks and take care of comfortable shoes!
There will be photography and filming during the hike!
