We will travel along perhaps the most beautiful section of the Merkis River. It is a medium-wide, flowing and picturesque river.

🛶 SWIMMING EQUIPMENT
Each participant can choose the most suitable swimming equipment - a single kayak, a double kayak or paddle.
You will travel in new ROTEKO double or single kayaks, manufactured in 2025. This is extremely high-quality and comfortable equipment: strong and comfortable seats, drink holders, multi-position footrests, as well as a place for a child to sit in the middle.
You can also choose a paddle board - a great choice for those who want more active and free swimming.

We will take care of the transportation to the starting point. There will be no shops or stops on the way, so have all the things you plan to take in the kayak or on the paddle board during the transfer.
Swimming start - in the village of Puvočiai. From here ~2-4 hours. we will sail down the Merkis river to the legendary Merkinė mound. In this section, the Merkys, having collected the waters of its tributaries, flows with a faster current all the way to the Nemunas. There are almost no obstacles in the river, so the route is popular both among those traveling with children and among those who are kayaking or paddleboarding for the first time.
We will end the trip at Vytaras Radzevičius PASAULIUS POODĘI. Here you can taste dishes of exceptional taste and admire the views from the Merkina mound!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION If you can buy a ticket - we still have free seats. Choose the means of swimming when buying a ticket: single kayak, double kayak or paddle board. Double kayaks usually take 2 people, so you can come with a friend. If you want to swim alone, we will provide you with a single kayak or you can swim in a two-person kayak alone - it is comfortable to sit in the back of the kayak. Paddleboarding is carried out individually. The river can be windy, so please have gloves, hats, scarves, waterproof clothing, protective glasses against sunglasses or tree branches. It is recommended to have a waterproof bag with spare warmer clothes. We look forward to meeting you the place where you will leave your cars. It is recommended not to take car keys in a kayak or on a paddle board. If you do take them, make sure they don't get wet or get lost. For an additional fee, a transfer from the bus/train station or by an ordered minibus from your city is possible. Check the weather forecast the day before sailing.
