The two-part retro comedy "Oscar" is the most successful play of the French playwright Claude Magnier, translated into many languages and successfully performed on various stages around the world.
Despite international recognition, this comedy was translated into Lithuanian only in recent years and presented to Lithuanian audiences. A story created more than half a century ago is more relevant than ever today, when we live in a "state of confusion" and so want to believe that everything will end well.
One early morning, soap tycoon Bertrand Barnier is forced out of bed by an intruder. It turns out that this is one of his employees - Christian Martin. Due to the impudent behavior and demands of the unexpected guest, the tycoon's morning, which started unexpectedly early, turns into a procession of fun, unexpected situations that turn the rich man's life upside down in one day.
