In the animated film "On the Edge of the World" - a cheerful and adventurous friendship between a meerkat and a boar.
Far away, on the edge of the desert, there is a happy life a family of meerkats. These small, bright animals know very well that the desert can be extremely dangerous for them.
However, one day a disaster happens: the grandfather falls seriously ill. The only medicine that can save him is a blue flower that grows on the other side of the desert and has miraculous healing properties. Grandson Tafitis, who loves his grandfather very much, decides to travel in search of the blue flower.
On the way, Tafitis meets a boar, who stubbornly decides to travel together. Soon the desert shows its claws to them: the travelers have to run away from hyenas, a predatory hawk and other dangers. But the trip also gives them new friends. Soon Tafitis realizes that friends not only come to the rescue when it is most needed, but with them all challenges are much easier and incomparably more fun.
