The most romantic dates from the cinema rises in the open air! The teams of "Kino pavasaris" and "Vasaros terrasas" have joined forces and present the summer series "Kinas kieme". It features the most watched festival cinema, the best Lithuanian films and the gems of the A24 studio.

The series continues with the sensitive, beautiful and relevant Japanese thriller/drama with a surprise ending, Monster. This film, which received a nearly six-minute standing ovation at the premiere, won the prize for best screenplay at Cannes.

ABOUT THE MOVIE "MONSTER"

When her son's behavior changes beyond recognition, single mother Saki's life is turned upside down. She tries to find the reasons for the boy's aggression at school. The mother is convinced that the source of her son's problems is his teacher Hori. While the latter denies the accusations, Saki is possessed by a morbid desire to prove the man's guilt. When their paths cross, an unexpected bond is formed, revealing secrets and the fragile nature of truth. Will it be revealed who the real monster is?
