For several years before his death, composer Ryuichi Sakamoto was unable to perform live. However, at the end of 2022, he gathered his strength and staged one last performance, creating a concert film featuring just him and a piano.

The concert begins in the early morning light as Sakamoto takes the stage. As the day breaks, the pieces, performed in his own order, reflect the composer's entire career, from pop stardom in Yellow Magic Orchestra to the stunning soundtracks of Bertolucci's films and his latest album, 12. It's not just a concert, it's a meditation on time and creativity and a farewell to one of Japan's greatest music creators.
