However, he was not overtaken by the ever-accelerating lifestyle, global economic and technological processes, which pushed representatives of many professions to the margins. Like, for example, a bleach seller walking the streets of a fast-growing city, earning 100 Moroccan dirhams (10 euros) a day. This film is like a "secret", an attempt to preserve and capture something unique, but almost lost.

After settling in America, Europeans also brought two invasive species of birds with them - European sparrows and starlings, which chased blue swallows from their natural nests. After building their nests in gourd cavities dug by the ancients, swallows became dependent on people and the birdhouses they built. In the film, not a single word is spoken, the viewer follows the migration paths of swallows, stretching from the Amazon forests to the Great Lakes in North America. All attention is paid to the bird, and the viewer is indirectly invited to think about human dominance in the ecosystem and its - good or bad - influence on life.

As a sign of memory, she intends to plant a tree for all relatives who have passed away in Annapilin, who visit the woman in her dreams. The yard of the Lavina house is like a green archive, where death and life are always side by side. The collaged frames and the silent whispering of the narrator act like a hypnotic prayer unfolding in the middle of the Brazilian savannah.

The Vilnius Documentary Film Festival, founded in 2004, is the oldest international documentary film festival in the Baltic States and, so far, the only festival in Lithuania devoted exclusively to creative documentaries. The main program consists of the films of recent years, which appeared at the most important documentary festivals. Parallel festival programs are dedicated to author retrospectives and special events. VDFF is a space for meetings and conversations: filmmakers, curators, representatives of authors come to the festival, an event catalog with texts accompanying the films is published.
