The Splendor of the Great
Retired Michele (Hélène Vincent) enjoys a quiet life and daily routine in a small village in Burgundy. Her longtime best friend Mari Claude (Josiane Balasko) lives nearby, and her grandson Luka should spend the autumn holidays with Michele. However, when his daughter Valerie (Ludivine Sagnier, who returned to the world of Ozone after more than twenty years) arrives with him, Michele's sacred peace is disturbed, because her daughter discovers the poisonous mushrooms that her mother accidentally collected. The long-awaited idyllic vacation with her grandson gets messed up and it seems that Michele is about to give up. But when Marie Claude's son returns from prison, everything takes an unexpected turn. It turns out that Michele, with a virtuous face, is not so holy - she is not one of those who give up easily, but an intriguing and colorful life full of passions boils not only in Paris. not only genres, but also to create memorable and colorful female characters. There is no ozonic mannerism in this film, but the director's sense of humor does not disappear.
