We invite 8-10-year-old young creators to immerse themselves in a five-day creative adventure.
Together with the actors of the "Budrugana Lietuva" theater, the campers will play theater games, learn the subtleties of improvisation, create etudes, get to know their own and others' emotions, and learn the unique hand shadow theater technique, and they will crown the creative processes with fun results that they will present to each other at the end of the camp.
Also, in the camp there will be no shortage of educations that arouse curiosity, to which we will travel by public city transport or we will receive educators in our theater spaces. Here, children, together with professional actors, will playfully and creatively spend every day and move the shadow in such a way that the energy and excitement will be enough until next year's camp!
WHY US?
In the day camp, children will learn how to create various shadow characters with their own hands, and how to bring them to life. Also, in the hand shadow theater workshop, children will develop not only their hands and their plasticity, but also observation, attention to small details, and expand the boundaries of their imagination.
Actors will pay great attention to children's emotional intelligence, after classes and at the end of the day they will teach children to reflect, express feelings, express them either in words or in various artistic forms.
Every day we will immerse ourselves in a "creative challenge", during which children will learn not only to let their imagination go, without criticizing it, without limiting it or thinking about the opinions of others, and we will learn to bring the creative process to an artistic result within a certain time.
Here children will spend time and learn theater skills with professional theater actors.
Each day the children will travel to a different artistic or educational excursion/activity. The purpose of this part is to introduce children to various theater and art forms, techniques and to get to know their emotions/feelings/moods through art.
During the acting mastery classes, children will increase their sense of self-confidence, develop creativity, flexibility of thinking, expand their imagination and learn the basics of acting - etudes and character creation. Also, during theatrical games/exercises, children will learn to feel their partner, team, environment, listen not only to their own, but also to the impulses and feelings sent by a friend.
Here, children will start and end the day in our theater studio, where they will have a great opportunity to get to know the actors' theater environment/backstage, where actors are constantly creating performances and rehearsing.
