Wild Children are the creative workshops where children themselves make toys from wood. Children learn by trying. They cut, drill and a nail!
Direct contact with a piece of wood and the effort made brings joy, satisfaction and strength! During the workshop, children create toys themselves by working with a natural shape tree. They learn to use full -fledged carpentry tools such as saws, hammers and drills. From branches, stumps and boards, they construct vehicles, robots or ships, create wooden paintings, create games and puzzles.
Wild Children's workshop was born out of the belief that the most undetectable wand can be a toy, and each element of nature offers endless opportunities to read, use and name. The topic is contractual and is only a starting point for individual work. The focus is on independence, their own strength and learning. Children do not work under the template they must fill in, but are encouraged to seek their ideas. The evaluation is avoided and the focus is on the creative process. Made works become the property of children.
Much attention is paid to haptics, i.e. y. for sensory experience through touch. Therefore, no semi -finished products are not used. During the workshop, children can choose from almost unlimited variety of wooden materials they are free to use, so they have the ability to turn on all their senses and explore and discover the world.
