Tytuvėnai International Summer Music Festival concert "Musical Lace"
July 14 Ona Kolobovaitė (soprano) and Justas Šerveniks (piano), who will gather as a trio for one evening at the Baisiogala manor, together with the cellist from Great Britain Thomas Collingwood, will invite the listeners to an evening of "Musical laces". From the 16th century the well-known Romantic style ensemble, which was mentioned in the written sources of that period as a royal court, will play music from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Ona Kolobovaitė (soprano) - famous musician in Lithuania and the world, graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, 2009 winner of the year's LRT project "Triumph Arch", a participant in many other projects and competitions. Ona Kolobovaitė stands out for her extremely soft timbre of voice, thus warming every note and turning her works into expressive and cozy stories.
Justas Šerveniks (piano) - pianist, head of the Tytuvėnai Festival, graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, advanced in Hanover in the higher school of music and theater. The pianist performs many concerts both in Lithuanian and foreign halls. Critics appreciate the music performed by Justa Šerveniks as fascinating: "expressiveness, vigour, brightness of colors and characters, the ability to produce a resonant sound in the entire dynamic scale, to control the listener".
Thomas Collingwood (cello) - a musician who has been playing the cello since the age of seven in 2003 graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music, studied with Eduardo Vassallo and Karine Georgian. While continuing his studies in London, the young musician actively participated in various master classes and cultivated a passion for chamber music. The cellist is visible on European stages as a soloist, chamber music performer and jury member of international competitions.
