Ballet KARMEN is a one-act performance based on G. Bizet–R. Shchedrin's "Carmen suite", with holographic video installations.

The ballet performance, like the novel, begins with a reverse chronology - when Don Jose is on the verge of madness, losing morals and hope, realizing that death awaits him, he tells his story to a traveler he meets by chance, in which he will put the end point Carmen.
It is very important that the audience does not expect to see the usual Carmen on stage. This version is different. This is a woman who resembles a chameleon. One moment she is sexy, sensitive and seductive, the next she is rough, masculine, domestic, like a hissing snake. Her range of emotions is very wide and constantly changing. Carmen longs to die and be reborn, through self-destruction she seeks a new beginning, a new life, only in another life - says the director and choreographer.
