July 4th. B'art invites you to take a music journey that leads through undiscovered sounds, unknown cultures and unhealthy spiritual landscapes under the starry Bartninkai ruins.
For the first time in Lithuania Carlos Talez - Ambassador of Venezuelas Rhythm, Depth and Traditions, who together with the band exclusively presents a unique musical program "Melodies, Songs and Traditions" to the B'art festival.
Carlos Talez is one of the most prominent voices of Afrocariban music in Europe, devoting his life to Venezuelan's musical roots for more than three decades to explore, storage, revitalization and dissemination. Carlos Talez performed from Spain to Chile, from Australia to Saudi Arabia, cooperated with creators such as Flamenco Legend Pac Peña or Latin Grammy winner Franco de Vita. His performances are more than concerts. It is a sacred ritual in which ancestral drums, siren songs, bandola melodies and strings blend into a seamless breathable whole - a musical prayer pulsating the Caribbean rhythm.
Carlos's latest project "Melodies, Songs and Traditions" is a dedicated gift for the B'art festival audience is the musical building: between Africa and Latin America, between tradition and improvisation, between roots and modernity. The heart of this appearance is the authentic Venezuela percussion, the flamenco dance and the magic of unknown string instruments. On the B'art stage, Carlos Talez will perform with a group of talented creators, which each member represents not only the highest level of music but also the deep cultural identity:
Antonieta Agustí is a flamenco dancer whose roots of Venezuela and Spain are intertwined. The art of dance was arranged by the great masters, especially her mentor Candelos, in the legendary Amor de Dios School in Spain. Antonieta's dance is a passionate story about identity, origin and freedom.
Miguel Siso - Quatrist, winner of Latin Grammy (2018), one of the most famous National instrument in Venezuelan - quartet - masters. In his music, traditional Venezuelan sounds, jazz, classic and flamenco - a synthesis of sounds that give birth to both light and tranquility.
Marcel Dávila is a percussionist and an audio architect whom drums are both emotions and technology. His versatility and sound mastery help to create a multilayer, deeply resonant world of music.
Raimundo itch is a multi -instrumentalist, composer and singer traveling freely between salsa, rock, pop, jazz and folklore. His stage versatility and musical intuition guarantee that every evening sound will sound accurate and sensitive.
July 4th. Carlos Talez and his group invite you to the only such B'art evening where the spirit will dance, the rhythms will invite you to travel, and the music will open the door to the unknown worlds.
