The Diamanti Trio is an ensemble of three professional artists, which combines the rich operative voices and the national Lithuanian instrument kankles. The collective is fascinated by the bold choice of repertoire and the unique artistic harmony of classics, folklore, sacred music, even rock intonations.
The name "Diamantis" (Diamonds, from Italian) describes not only the radiance of the sound, but also the exclusivity of each member and a significant contribution to Lithuanian musical culture. The team has been performing since 2019, and in 2024 became the finalists of the TV project "Voice of Lithuania.", Received great support and evaluation of the audience for its peculiar way of presenting music.
The concert program includes operas arias, duets, works of Lithuanian composers, folk songs, hymns. All of this sounds new: the timbre of the martyrs joins the vocal texture, creating a bright, sensitive, sometimes even meditative atmosphere.
The artistic axis of the ensemble is Aistė Bružaitė, an associate professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, a doctor of art, an active disseminator of new Lithuanian music, cooperating with composers, orchestras, choirs and international festivals.
Singer Dovilė Kazonaitė and Ilona Pliavgo - opera soloist, who are constantly performing in Lithuanian and foreign scenes. Their repertoire includes both classic opera parties and contemporary and chamber music.
The Diamanti Trio is not just a synergy of three performers. It is a living musical experiment in which academic experience and national tradition blend into new quality: transparent, sensual, strong and relevant.
