Special 21st International Arts Festival "Druskininkai Summer with M. K. Čiurlionis" guest Mūza Rubackytė recitals in Druskininkai!
"Baltic to Adriatic" is an intriguing musical journey through various era and countries. Famous Lithuanian pianist Musea Rubackytė subtly combines different epochs and cultures in this program, revealing the harmony of musical mastery and history.
Having accumulated a huge repertoire in his arsenal, Diva has chosen a very subtle program for the concert and at the same time a technically demanding mastery program, which will focus on the 150th anniversary Mikalojus Konstantin Čiurlionis. The creation of this Lithuanian genius combines music, painting and literature, thus creating a special atmosphere that M. Rubackytė will reveal with the subtlety of her inherently. The concert will also feature works born in Žasliai, one of the best pianist of all time, leopold Godowski, which will be perfect for the painting opuses of modern composer Raminta Šerkšnytė, and will be crowned with the most wonderful part of the Wand of Ferenc's Liszt Cycle "Wandery".
M. Rubackytė is the winner of the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize, founder and artistic director of the Vilnius Piano Music Festival, the winner of the International Liszt -Bartoko Budapest (1981) and Les Grand Maîtres Français (1990). The interpretations of F. Liszt's works occupy a special place in her work, and the US publication Fanfare critics called it "one of the best living performers of Liszt." Pianist is a member of the International Liszt Association (ILA) office, president of the composer Society in Lithuania Lisztuania and the President of the National Lisztophonija National Competition. 2012 For the dissemination of Liszt's work in the world, Mr Rubackytė won the Prize of the Hungarian Ministry of Culture Pro Hungarica, this spring she was awarded the Hungarian Order of Merit Knight's Cross.
2020 The French publishing house Ovadia published an autobiographical book "Born under the Piano", 2022. This book was published in Lithuanian by Tyto alba. 2024. The documentary (dir. A. Marcinkevičiūtė) made about it has traveled to several continent cinema halls and was nominated for the Silver Crane prize in three categories.
