It all started in 1989, when six talented instrumentalists from the University of the Arts in Havana started imitate the sounds of various instruments with their voices. This musical leisure game for young people has grown into the internationally recognized unique ensemble "Vocal Sampling", whose concerts have already been enjoyed by listeners from different countries around the world. This summer, "Vocal Sampling" is performing for the first time in Lithuania!

Already the band's debut album "Una Forma Mas", released in 1993, attracted such music stars as Bobby McFerrin , Peter Gabrielis and Paul Simonas attention. in 1996 Vocal Sampling received an exclusive invitation to perform at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival, and in 2000 performed to a packed Royal Albert Hall at the BBC Proms. in 2002 the released album "Cambio de Tiempo" was nominated for three Latin Grammy awards, and the geography of the group's concert tours spanned the most important world music and jazz scenes in Europe, Asia, Latin and North America.

In 2020, celebrating the 30th anniversary of "Vocal Sampling", the singers decided to try themselves in a new role by holding a concert with a symphony orchestra. The ensemble performed this program with the Havana Lyceum Orchestra in Cuba and with the Tonkünstler Orchestra at the Vienna Musikverein and  "St. Pölten Festspielhaus" halls in Austria.
