Chamber music concert Kaddish is dedicated to the rich, varied and rich Jewish culture. In the history of Western music, Jewish culture and traditions had an important influence on the development of classical music, inspiring many composers and music performers.
Tonight's performers are violinist Boris Livschitz, cellist Mark Drobinsky and a pianist. Julija Sadaunykaitė invites you to rediscover the wonderful layers of Jewish music, as well as to hear the premieres of works by the famous Lithuanian composer Giedrias Kuprevičius and Yuri Povolotsky, born in Ukraine of Jewish origin.
Violinist B. LIVSCHITZAS was born and studied in Vilnius, and graduated from the Tel Aviv Rubin Academy of Music in Israel. 1975-2002 he was a soloist with the Opera Orchestra of Zurich (Switzerland). Performed intensively with Zurich String Trio and Zurich String Quintet, with many orchestras in Salzburg, Zurich Opera, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Moldovan National Chamber Orchestra, etc., many great musicians, more than 65 European, North and Latin American, African, Near and Far Eastern countries, participated in various festivals.
