The Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra invites you to embark on a musical journey accompanied by wonderful melodies. In the concert program, together with the orchestra, soprano Raminta Vaicekauskaitė will perform an excerpt from the spectacularly beautiful Spanish classic J. Turina's cycle for voice and orchestra "Sevillijos dainos". The concert will also feature the German composer F. Bartholdy's Symphony no. 3, otherwise known as "Scottish".

The soloist of the evening is the laureate of two "Golden Stage Crosses", two "Fortunes", Vytautas Raminta Vaicekauskaitė, lecturer at the Music Academy of the Great University, laureate of many international singing competitions, soloist of the Kaunas State Musical Theater.

The orchestra and the soloist will conduct for the Lithuanian audience. you already know the famous German conductor Markus Huber.

As a soloist of the Tölzer Knabenchor boys' choir, Markus Huber has worked with such music since childhood personalities such as Herbert von Karajan, James Levine, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Nicolaus Harnoncourt and Dennis Russell Davies. He completed his music studies at the universities of Munich and Vienna, among his teachers were Leopold Hager (conducting) and Karl-Hermann Mrongovius (piano).

M. Huber began his conducting career in 1996 as manager and conductor at the Landestheater Detmold. A year later, he became the second choir director of the Opernhaus Chemnitz. in 1999 he is appointed principal conductor of the Collegium Instrumentale Chemnitz. 2002 - 2007 - the main guest conductor of the Bulgarian Chamber Orchestra, and in 2003 Principal conductor of the Leipzig Westsächsisches Sinfonieorchester. Since 2008 until 2019 Markus was the music director of Opera Pforzheim. From 2019 M. Huber is the artistic director of the Thuringian Philharmonic Orchestra.
