Pianist EMILIJA ŠUKYTĖ, distinguished by her versatility and romantic musical sensitivity, actively performs in Germany and other European countries and in the USA as a soloist, Lied pianist and chamber music performer, has appeared in most of the main Lithuanian concert halls, played at the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation's "Live Music Now" in sponsored concerts. In 2023-2024, the pianist performed at the German Embassy in Rome, Renhof Castle and the historic hall of the city of Wuppertal. She also cooperates with the symphony orchestra "Opus 125" and plays in its composition.
E. Šukytė is a multiple laureate of young pianist competitions in France, Turkey, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic and Latvia, a scholarship recipient of the winter academy "Feuerwerk" in Einbek, Germany, and received the prestigious "German scholarship" in 2021-2023. The pianist completed her bachelor's studies in Germany, at the Düsseldorf University of Music (in the class of Prof. Paolo Giacometti). From 2024 studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (prof. Jurgis Karnavičius' class). He also studies privately with G. Janušević in Hanover.
