The soloist created more than 20 different roles, including the title character in the musical "Elisabeth", where she was able to embody the character's complex journey from the joy of youth to the suffering of an adult woman. Vytautas Straižys is an extraordinary pianist who has followed his musical path from the M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts to at the prestigious Royal Conservatory in the Netherlands, where he completed his master's studies in jazz. His musical prowess spans the spectrum from jazz to classical music, combining improvisational prowess with deep harmonic textures. The pianist manages to create a musical journey that combines styles such as Oscar Peterson, Billy Evans, Herbie Hancock along with the classical influences of Sergei Rachmaninoff and Claude Debussy.

Straižys is a versatile creator - he also sings, plays percussion instruments and has founded Downtown Piano Lab, an exclusive apartment, studio and concert hall in one, which has become a real creative center in Vilnius.
