Interactive theatrical musical rhythm based on the work of Motiejaus Valančius
Is it always worth telling the truth? Why is friendship so important? Can the old Lithuanian stories be interesting for today's children?
We invite kindergarten and elementary school children, teachers and educators to an upbeat musical evening, where the instructive short stories of Motiejaus Valančius are revived on stage through theater, live music and playful storytelling.
Although everyone knew that Winnie could lie, he still managed to trick others. But what happens when a lie begins to weave new stories? Do you always manage to get out of them? Together with a group of funny storytellers and musicians, children will go on a journey through the world of Motiejs Valančiaus, where they will meet Liar Mickey, Prance Paukšvanagelė, the clever Vence and other colorful characters.
With live music playing, the little ones will not only listen to the stories, but also become a part of them. The program will feature Lithuanian instruments - kankles, birbynes, horns and others, the sound of which will help you get to know our musical heritage. This is not a class where you have to sit quietly. It is a lively meeting that invites you to ask questions, laugh, get involved and discover together that the stories written more than a century ago still speak today about what is most important - honesty, friendship, responsibility and respect for each other.
