On December 13, the Kaunas State Philharmonic will be filled with the musical frenzy of the accordion and orchestra, accompanied by well-known opuses. Probably few people have not heard A. Dvořák's "Carnival" or A. Khachaturian's wonderful suite "Masquerade". And where else is the magnificent "Bolero" by F. Latėnas. The Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Martynos Staškaus, will surely give you a whole bunch of positive emotions, which will allow you to forget the difficulties and worries of everyday life even for a while. And the guest of the concert, accordionist Tadas Motiečius, will take the audience to the top of the distant Aconcagua, from which an extraordinary blue sky opens up. With the orchestra he will perform Á. Piazzolla Concerto for accordion and orchestra "Aconcagua". Concert soloist Tadas Motiečius is a multiple laureate of national and international competitions, seminars, festivals, participant in various projects. For his achievements in the field of music, he has been awarded by Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkaus and President Dalia Grybauskaitė and has won the Queen Martha Prize. The artist has recently been one of the most active accordionists in the country, representing the art of the accordion at the highest level in many prestigious events not only in Lithuania, but also abroad.

This artist is Saulius Sondeckis from Šiauliai. pupil of the art school (teacher M. Markevičienė) and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (prof. R. Sviackevičius). Already after two years of studying music, Tad's competition and concert activities began. Winner of more than thirty competitions in Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, Italy, Russia, France, Croatia and China. The artist performed in concert halls of Tallinn, Riga, Gdansk and Copenhagen music academies, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, China, Australia, USA and Central America. Participated in international accordion music festivals - seminars in Switzerland, Italy, France, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Finland.

While playing in ensembles of various composition, the performer gets involved in unique artistic projects with diverse theater creators. Actively collaborates with representatives of other instruments in innovative chamber, contemporary, jazz, and vocal music projects. He often performs as a soloist with major national orchestras and chamber ensembles not only in Lithuania, but also abroad.
