That is why the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra invites you to enjoy sparkling French classics. And it could be best presented by an expert of this music from France itself - maestro ALAIN PARIS.

Long time friend of the orchestra Alain Paris is a French pedagogue, musicologist, producer of music broadcasts who is often called "a tireless promoter of music that ignores borders and disciplinary boundaries", having conducted seventy orchestras in thirty countries, four continents. As a guest conductor, the maestro worked with almost all the most important French symphony ensembles, was invited to Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Estonia, Finland, Portugal, Romania. Collaborated with Bilkent, Georg Enescu Bucharest Philharmonic, Athens, Lebanon, Cairo Symphony Orchestras, St. Petersburg Chapel, Buenos Aires, Cannes, Singapore, Guangzhou, Katowice, Budapest, Lugano, Bangkok, Macao, Shanghai, Istanbul and Mexico City ensembles. Alain Paris is especially appreciated for his deep knowledge of the French repertoire, his knowledge is enjoyed by the visitors of the regularly held master courses, the conductor is often invited to be a member of international competition commissions.

For tonight's concert, the orchestra chose a special guest - one of the best performers of his generation, trumpeter ROMAIN LELEU.

This wonderful trumpet player visited Kaunas for the first time in December 2017. That time, together with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, Alain Paris gave the audience the concert "Beautiful French Romance". The soloist was pleasantly surprised by the large number of people who gathered to enjoy his music. Remembering that joyful moment and cherishing the established connection with the Lithuanian audience, Romain Leleu keeps coming back here and delights the listeners with his talent.
