Piano trio "Meta" returns to the stage of the Kaunas Philharmonic with the concert program "Percussion rhythm", which includes piano trios of the young generation of Lithuanian composers, created specifically for this ensemble, to opuses with characteristic rhythms. The geography of the program is extremely broad: alongside well-known creators on the Lithuanian contemporary music scene, Andrias Šiuris and Lukas Butkaus, listeners will also hear the romantic, dreamy French composer Gabriel Fauré, the German composer Max Richter's miniatures, and the charismatic Turkish pianist and composer Fazil Say, the subtle Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto's compositions.Towards the climax of the concert, the expressive and engaging tangos of the Argentinian composer Ástor Piazzolla lead to a veritable fiesta by the American composer Kenji Buncho.
