Every pianist Muse Rubackytė's performance at Pažaislis Music Festival is an exceptional musical event that attracts fans of classical music. The pianist, who lives in Lithuania, France and Switzerland, is the winner of the international Ferenc Liszt, Bellos Bartók Piano Budapest and the winner of the French music "Les Grand Maîtres Français" competitions. She is actively performing around the world, participates in the jury of international competitions, teaches in the most famous Conservatives and leads masterclasses.
M. Rubackytė is not only a pianist, but also a bright cultural personality, who has won numerous awards for the dissemination of Lithuanian culture. She is the Cavalier of Commander of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas, awarded the Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Art, the Government Prize and the Prize of the Hungarian Ministry of Culture Pro Cultura Hungarica. The pianist's album with Leopold Godowski and Charles Szymanowski won the International Diapascon D'Or Award and the Ffff event prize.
Tonight, the pianist will present the latest program "From the Baltic to Adriatic", where the musical colors of different epochs and edges will intertwine. The concert will feature three preludes of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis and two nocturns, the second part of L. Godowski Sonata, and the piano of Raminta Šerkšnytė "Takalia". The evening culmination will become F. Liszt's opuses from the cycles "The Second Wand Year: Italy" and "Third Wand Year: Rome", as well as the magnificent sonata H-moll.
