In the program-original compositions and traditional rhythms

Six musicians, which are united by passion for traditional African and South American music, are a band Ayom. After meeting in Lisbon, six performers discovered a common musical language that features the rhythms of the islands of Brazil, Angola and the Green, intertwined with the musical traditions of South America and Africa. Each member of the group brings a peculiar history: Brazilian, Italian, Greek or Angolians who blend into a unique synthesis of sounds. The concert will feature traditional rhythms-Sembo, Funaná, Maracate, Kizomba, Maloya and many others, conveying the vitality of different cultures.

This year Ayom introduces new album "SA.li .Va, "the name of which reflects the three main impulses that lie in their music: Sa-Grad (Sacredness), Li-Berdade (Freedom and Love) and Va-Lentia (Courage). This album produced by Latin Grammy winner Guilherme Kastrup combines organic and electronic sounds, revealing a new but still authentic ayom musical identity. Concerts are not only rhythms, but also emotions that make listeners feel freedom, joy and communion. Ayom music power lies not only in its versatility, but also in the ability to create an emotional connection with the audience, so we invite you to experience a celebration where freedom, tradition and modern energy meet.
