In the program, the hymns of the Renaissance and Baroque era, songs, arias, duets and instrumental
During the concert "Hymn of Life: Age Tales", listeners will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich and impressive world of Renaissance and Baroque era music. The trio, consisting of a wonderful voice boss-Baritonis Nerijus Masevičius, a talented discant and cellist Teodoras Lipčius and the guitar and the unique instrument of Lithuania-Archiliutni Liuto Forte-Saulius S. Lipčius, will perform selective works that reflect the musical diversity and luxury of these periods.
The program will include John Dowland melancholy melodies, impressive arias of George Friedrich Händel, Andrea Falconieri virtuoso music, and rarely performed works by the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The authentic old Zapyškis Church with its unique acoustics will further highlight the subtleties of each piece.
Nerijus Masevičius is a participant of various international festivals, widely recognized for the performance of Baroque, Opere and Contemporary Music. Saulius S. Lipčius is a fourth -generation musician, an associate professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, a multiple winner of competitions, who has mastered the unique Archiliutni Luto Forte. He will appear on stage with his son Theodorus Lipčius, a talented young generation cellist and vocalist who has been fascinated by concerts and television projects since childhood.
