This funny and good sense of humor was formed by Kęstutis Šarkellauskas,

invited musicians with whom he had previously played in various collectives. The first concert took place

Panevezys in 2007. January 26th. This date is named as the birthday of Daumantai musicians. At the beginning of the concert activity, the repertoire of the collective consisted of Lithuanian folk works and similar styling songs, so the name was folk music band Daumantai Musicians.

Why daumantas? Because the collective has been friends with UAB daumantai.lt, well -known manufacturer of great seasonings and flavors. Daumantai musicians include the winners of many competitions, regular participants of the Rubežius and other festivals, participants of the LRT show "Gourto steam" and the winners of 2011. "Where are the green trees", "Oh well" and "We are others". Why are we "already others"? Musicians, instruments, playing style changed in the team, and the repertoire began to sound mainly author. In August 2021, after joining a well -known songwriter, performer and musician Arūnas Armonas, all members of all members of the band were unanimously naming the band "Daumantai Musicians". , at corporate, community festivals, private parties and others at events.
