Here, the audience will see a sincere, REAL comedy. And extraordinary - musical! "IS AMERICA IN THE BATH?!" - this is the first Lithuanian play brought to life with music and songs, touring the halls of Lithuanian cities with great success.
"Ah, America..." - the heroes of the performance sighed more than once, realizing perfectly well that "it's good where we are not". Here, Lithuanian shingles will crush the mirages of the "promised land" to pieces, and the heat of the sauna will wittily expose the weaknesses of the gullible and the deceit of the selfish. The characters (and maybe ourselves) will be made fun of by human vices turned into cartoon characters: greed, stupidity and pride.
Director Nerijus Petrokas revived the plot of the classical Lithuanian play with melodies specially arranged by Vytautas Lukočius, a well-known TV project conductor. An attractive creative idea is implemented in the halls of Lithuania by the stage artist Deivis Norvilas, the charming Sandra Lebrikaitė and the artists of the Kaunas music ensemble "Ainiai".
