The Kintai Music Festival invites you to a special musical evening dedicated to two significant personalities in the history of Lithuanian culture-the 80th anniversary of the composer Anatoly Shenderov and the 90th anniversary of the writer, translator, diplomat Ugne.
A bright international team of performers-violinists Dalia Dėdinskaitė and Martynas Švėgžda von Bekker, Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra (artistic director Mindaugas Bačkus) and an invited conductor from Taiwan Ching-Ming Lu. Personist Pavel Giunter and pianist Simona Zajančauskaitė will also be performed at the concert.
The program will be heard by Anatolijus Shenderov's concert for the violin and the chamber orchestra, revealing the style of the composer, which intertwines the audio heritage of the Litvak culture and the modern musical language. The solo party will be performed by Dalia Dėdinskaitė.
The world premiere - composer Monika Sokaitė's composition - "What a peace looks like? What color does it look like?" The violin party will be performed by Martynas Švėgžda von Bekker. At the end of the concert, Felix Mendelssohn Symphonic Suxuos "Midsummer Night Dream" arrangement of String Orchestra (arranger - Alexander Shchetinsky).
