Klaipėda choir "Aukuras" Artistic director and conductor Tomas Ambrozaitis "Tykumos" - atmospheric music duet: Donatas Bielkauskas (drums, whistles, kankles, skudcii, horns, percussion, electronics) Kristijonas Lučinskas (drums , horns, lumzdelis, skudučii, percussion, electronics) Program: works by Juoz Naujalis, Česlovas Sasnauskas, Juoz Gudavičias, Vytautas Miškinis, Vaclovas Augustinas, Danguolė Beinarytė with improvisations by the duo "Tykumos" In a program that synthesizes different musical styles, Klaipėda citizens will combine their creative ideas into a common whole artists: choir "Aukuras" and atmospheric music duo "Tykumos". The inventive counterpoints of folk instruments and electronics will create a harmonious background and mood for choral compositions by well-known Lithuanian authors of the past and present. The creative team of Donatas Bielkauskas and Kristijonas Lučinskas will deconstruct the motifs of Lithuanian songs, aiming for interesting sounds and a modern interpretation. The program will be conducted by the artistic director of "Aukuro", Tomas Ambrozaitis.
Attention listeners: In case of rainy weather, the event will take place in the Klaipėda concert hall. Children of preschool age are admitted to this program for free.
