Swiss pianist Francois-Xavier Poizat, Martha Archerich, is awarded for "amazing lyricism and impressive virtuosity", presents the Dedication Program at the Alanta Music Festival: the works will be performed by composers to their colleagues and inspirations.
Particular attention is paid to the program to French composer Maurice Ravel, whose 150th birth anniversary is celebrated in 2025. His dedication to Emmanuel Chabriery, François Couper and Alexander Borodin will be performed.
You will also hear Federico Mompou Variations F. Chopin's theme, a subtle look at Chopin's music through the Musical Language, who is imbued with the improvisability of Spanish composer.
Violinist Dalia Simaška will join the pianist at the end of the concert. Together, the music will perform a miniature of Juozas Gruodis in Chopin style and the audience's favorite Francis Poulenc Sonat for the violin and piano.
