One of the most versatile Lithuanian music creators, Linas Adomaitis, announces his only acoustic summer concert at the seaside. On July 24, the artist, together with pianist Gedimin Strupinskas, invites you to a magical evening of music at the Juodkrantė stage, where Lin's work will sound more sensitive, closer and with the lightness characteristic of a midsummer evening by the lagoon.
In more than a quarter of a century on stage, Lin has created a unique musical path, which intertwines pop music, soul, jazz, gospel, orchestral arrangements and sincere stage openness. During this time, Lin's music was played on almost all the biggest stages in the country, but this summer the artist is coming to the Curonian Spit with a program where the most important thing is not huge stage effects, but live sound, musical mastery and a close connection with the audience.
The performer, violinist, composer, arranger, music producer and sound direction teacher feels equally strongly in both large arenas with orchestras and choirs, both in chamber concerts where every melody, pause and word gets closer to the listener. According to Lin, Juodkrantė was not chosen for this concert by chance - it is a place whose atmosphere allows the music to sound differently: more spacious, softer, more sensitive and more real.
"Acoustic concerts always have a special feeling for me. There is less noise and more certainty in them - voice, notes and people who are together. Therefore, the Curonian Spit is an ideal place for such a concert, because the environment here invites you to stop and listen. I want this concert to be like a summer evening conversation by the lake - warm, lively and very sincere", says Linas.
On July 24th in Juodkrante, his long-time stage partners - backing vocalists Akmėja Brūzgė and Vaiva Venslovienė - will perform together with Linas. The talented young generation jazz pianist Gediminas Strupinskas, who has been working with Lin for several years and often accompanies him both on concert stages and in the recording studio, will accompany the performer. The pianist also contributed to the creation of Lin's latest album "Stebuklas".
During the concert, listeners will hear Linas Adomaitis's brightest works and their acoustic interpretations. The program will include well-known hits, including "Did you see her?", "Lips like cherries", "I envy myself", "Your colors", "Vandenynai", "Kol kartu", "Mylėt nelengva", "Saulės ftomimos" and other works specially selected for a magical summer evening.
The only acoustic concert by Linas Adomaitis this summer will take place on July 24 day, Friday, on the Juodkrantė stage. Pianist Gediminas Strupinskas will also appear on stage. The acoustic evening is organized by "Arch Scena", and tickets for the event are distributed by the "Bilietai.lt" platform.
