An evening combining classics and Indian meditative music.
What among the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and Indian music masters? It turns out - quite a few. The classical Western school and Eastern vibrations will meet tonight: strings, meditation, tabla. The program will be intertwined with Western classics and oriental sound.
Along with the orchestra led by Mindaugas Bačkus, guests from India - Suitar Virtuoso Imran Khan and Tabla Master Naim Khan - will appear. Their "Ragos" is the works of old India classical music that aim not only to play but also to create mood.
Suitar is a string instrument reminiscent of a long -necked lute, often heard in both classic and cinema or even rock music. Tabla is a two -drum instrument whose rhythms can be gentle as rain or fast as a heartbeat.
Imran Khan started playing in his childhood, inheriting a feeling of music from his family. His performances sounded not only in his native India, but also worldwide - from Germany to Thailand. Among the impressive moments is the concert for Prince Carol III. Imran not only plays, but also creates music, records albums, cooperates with performers of various genres.
There is a fun hypnotic musical dialogue.
