"Čiurlionis and Sofia" - the history of love and freedom in the background of the era. We invite you to a sensual journey through genius life - a film about Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, which is embodied on the screen by his great -grandchild Rokas Zubovas.
Artist and composer Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis stands out from the crowd with a sincere and friendly smile, although his poor and unhappy life was never easy. Meanwhile, Sofija Kymantaitė (actress Marija Korenkaitė) is a complete opposite of growing up in a rich family, studying literature and philosophy fiercely fighting for independent Lithuania. They both unexpectedly meet in 1908 in Vilnius -controlled Vilnius -controlled Vilnius.
The film, which survives real historical events, facts of biography, fictional interpretations of the storyline and real paintings and thoughts of M.K. Ciurlionis, is a wonderful musical composition. They were lived live by pianist Rokas Zubov.
