During the opening concert of the XII International Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis Music Festival in Palanga, we will hear the symphony orchestra and young soloists of the national M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts. The symphony orchestra of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts was founded in 2002. This is the continuation of the activities of the famous string orchestra in the past, which won the prestigious H. von Karajan competition. The string orchestra was founded and led for many years by prof. S. Sondeckis. Since the foundation of the symphony orchestra, it has been led by the conductor of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre, Martynas Staškus. The programs prepared by the orchestra were already played in the hall of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall. Tour routes reach not only Kaunas, Šiauliai, Klaipėda, Plunge, Panevėžys, Visaginas, but also foreign countries. The Young Musicians prepared a varied, upbeat program for this concert. On the occasion of the National Day at 9 p.m. Together with Lithuanians from all over the world, we will traditionally sing the National Anthem. PERFORMERS:
