The prince swears eternal love to Odette. Unfortunately, keeping the given oath is not so easy: after seeing Odile, the daughter of the evil sorcerer, who looks exactly like Odette, at a feast held in the castle, the prince cannot resist and succumbs to the charms of the seductress. After Siegfried swears his love to Odile, Rothbar triumphs - the prince breaks his promise to Odette, which means that his spell is all-powerful and there is no eternal love. Realizing what he has done, Siegfried runs to the lake and begs Odette for forgiveness. Black swans sent by Rothbar try to separate the lovers, but love gives Siegfried the strength to overcome the evil sorcerer. Evil is defeated, life, love and happiness await the happy Odette and Siegfried.
